Good morning all ... For a long time now, technology has been a big item for gift giving especially around Christmas time. This year is no exception. Based on a number of articles I found yesterday, the sales of amazon alexa and google attendant both did extremely well this season. Here's the rub. For those of us who read George Orwell's book "1984" we are now seeing his theme as prophetic. The government, hackers, enemies now have the opening to spy on our every move including even in our bedrooms and by all indication our culture is embracing this dangerous cultural swing. Take a look at this article link and give it some serious thought.

To expect that this technology will always be used for the good of mankind is naive. It seems to me the only safe way to have this technology in your home is to unplug it, but then what good is it if it is unplugged all the time. I have been in technology for over 40 years and have seen the good and the bad. In my mind this technology falls into the "dangerous" category.

I'm back - was off for a while with medical and business issues. Hope to be checking daily for updates and connections. This site has grown by over 500% since last June, so keep spreading the words folks. Oh btw I am one of the site administrators! Stephen Ensley Out of Darkness sample from their third project. This one is designed for prayer time, meditation and adoration as well as praise and worship.

As a result of the shooting of Congressman Scalise and 4 others last week, I have observed talk show after talk show speculating on the impact of hate rhetoric. Of course both sides blame the other and round and round we go. The real truth is human nature props itself up on condemning the behavior of "others" and spreading gossip. The reality is we are all guilty of speech harmful to others. Of course most of us don't condone shooting another person, but still we engage in dialog that is demeaning or even outright hateful to others.

I am no theologian nor am I a psychiatrist but I AM an Internet safety expert and I can say with absolute certainty that the Internet is helping to exponentially increase hateful rhetoric. If we as individuals, professionals, pastors and parents do not address the root cause of hate and endeavor to be more Christ like, then this carnage we see will grow to overwhelm and consume all of us. It is the job of all of us to be a prophet, priest and king for our families and all those around us. It is also our responsibility to stop ignoring the 800lb gorilla in the room and to begin monitoring and moderating our Internet behavior.

Of course the Internet is not the only means of spreading hate, but it is by far the primary vehicle for this purpose and for programming our minds to believe violence is the solution. Violent online games and social sites are the vehicles, the Internet is the highway. Please do not be the next Internet victim. I would be happy to provide interviews or presentations at no charge if I can help in your area of influence with education and information regarding Internet safety for all. Please feel free to contact me at sensley@afo.net.

Hey folks get ready for a lot of new friends, we intend to do an official launch soon and we would be thrilled if you share our site with family and friends. We won't do all the conservative tracking and censoring that facebook does. You will be free to express pro-family,pro-life, and pro-faith values without fear of being censored.

Phillip Tursic Hello. I am looking for an alternative since I believe Facebook will soon censor conservatives and their viewpoints out of their system. Do you have an update on launch and or future of this site? I'm also having trouble positioning and orienting profile and cover pics.

Dan Kelly Can we get it thru an IPhone app

Stephen Ensley An App is being developed, but you can also access it on any apple device through the safari browser.
